What khz does high quality music go up to?

16kHz is probably a decent limit for all practical purposes. The only sounds at such high frequencies are the harmonics. So you might have difficulty distinguishing between say, a trumpet and a french horn playing the same note. FM radio cuts off lower than that, and doesn't sound unduly dull, does it?
