People that just shine.......?

Have you ever been in a group (or seen a group) where there is one person who is obviously the leader, or the one everyone respects? Im looking at Coldplay. Chris Martin obviously is loved more than the rest, and his personality makes him more lovable too...does anyone know why?! Ive been thinking about this forever.... I know Chris is the singer and stuff but regardless if he WASNT a singer, he is a remarkably interesting person...why?
