I dnt like mint, but i want to use this teeth whitener!!?

i got these teeth whitening strips, but theyre really minty. my mom said i have to use them cuz she got them for me, but how do i keep my mind off the mint?? is there anything i can do lol. i know this is kind of a wierd question lol. thanks in advance!!
