Will there be a Snake version of MGS2?

Looking back at the events of MGS2, it really seems like there were a lot of interesting things that went on with Solid Snake behind the scenes (e.g. Snake's fight with Fortune, his second encounter with Olga, his pursuing Metal Gear Ray at the end of the game etc.) Do you think Kojima has any plans to remake a version of MGS2 that specifically covers the events surrounding Snake?
