Horse school decisions?

I beg You to go to college and do the equine/business/science. Please do not be tempted to go straight into a yard. I left school at 16 to train as a riding instructor. I had a great time for many years, but it is very hard work and pays poorly. Now that I am older and have a mortgage and financial commitments I can not afford to work with horses. I also had nothing to fall back on. Work for me is unskilled mundane stuff.
